Job summary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Rufus, Oregon, is seeking a Lead Project Environmental Compliance Coordinator (ECC) to act as the technical expert on all environmental compliance activities related to hazardous substances and materials, and to advise the Project Manager.

You will plan, train, schedule and ensure proper implementation of related activities, applying Federal and State regulations such as RCRA, CERCLA and CFRs; telework is eligible.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA) for hazardous substances handling and waste disposal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert on environmental compliance for hazardous substances and materials; advise the Project Manager and coordinate related activities.
• Plan, train, schedule and ensure proper implementation of environmental compliance tasks across the project.
