Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist (Construction) to lead environmental compliance initiatives across plants and projects, focusing on air quality, stormwater, and waste management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Science or Engineering related fields or relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills able to reach across departments.
• Strong project and process management skills; capable of leading major initiatives.
• Expert knowledge of air quality or other environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and assist with maintenance of all environmental permits for plants, sites, and projects.
• Prepare and submit reports for USEPA and state agencies including emission inventories and permit renewals.
• Assist in compliance tests and EMS documentation maintenance.
• Coordinate, conduct, and teach compliance reviews and internal assessments.
• Track compliance metrics and drive performance improvements.
