The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Rufus, Oregon, is seeking a Lead Project Environmental Compliance Coordinator (ECC) to act as the technical expert on all environmental compliance activities related to hazardous substances and materials, and to advise the Project Manager.
You will plan, train, schedule and ensure proper implementation of related activities, applying Federal and State regulations such as RCRA, CERCLA and CFRs; telework is eligible.
About the Position: As Lead Project Environmental Compliance Coordinator (ECC) , serves as the technical expert on all environmental compliance activities related to hazardous substances and materials, and advisor to the Project Manager. Responsible for planning, training, scheduling, coordination and proper implementation of all related activities.
Utilize an in-depth knowledge of all Federal and State regulations, such as RCRA, CERCLA, and Federal Code of Regulations governing the handling of hazardous materials and disposal of hazardous waste.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
