Qualifications

• United States citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10+ years in a scientific field.
• Experience with Title 40 CFR.
• Experience with Clean Water Act.
• Experience with RCRA.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Willing to commute to ARNG Building in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental compliance program management and technical support to the ARNG Environmental Compliance Branch.
• Conduct gap analyses and detailed technical reviews of documents and plans for regulatory alignment.
• Develop, revise, and implement an EMS aligned with regulations (40 CFR, CWA, RCRA, etc.).
• Review annual compliance submissions for ARNG standards.
• Maintain compliance records and documentation for the Environmental Compliance Branch.
• Update ARNG work documents reflecting operational environment.
• Provide technical support for AST/UST management programs.
• Attend quarterly/annual meetings with States; two in-person meetings in CONUS.
• Draft correspondence on behalf of the Environmental Compliance Branch Chief.
