Job summary

Southern West Virginia Paving, Inc., a CRH company, seeks an Environmental Intern to assist the environmental department in ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations. The role requires current enrollment in a college degree program and a 3.0 GPA or better.

Responsibilities include conducting compliance reviews, obtaining permits, and training employees on environmental matters.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program and maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or training in environmental, geology, or mining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance reviews, inspections, and internal audits to ensure permits and regulations are followed.
• Assist in obtaining environmental permits for plants, sites, and projects.
• Inform employees and contractors about environmental policy and compliance requirements.
• Provide environmental training to company employees.
