Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to conduct health and safety surveys, quantitative and qualitative exposure/risk assessments.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with diverse audiences.
• Maintain current knowledge of and interpret government regulations and university policies.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and potential impact on work areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental protection programs and procedures.
• Identify, assess, and monitor workplace hazards; remediate and recommend improvements.
• Investigate incidents, incidents, and complaints; prepare reports and evaluations.
• Provide technical advice and interpretation of regulations; may lead junior staff.
