Job summary

Ser e1n Bioscience, LLC is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead environmental compliance, sustainability, and management initiatives across R&D, lab, clinical and manufacturing environments. You will provide technical leadership on complex projects, manage regulatory relationships, drive continuous improvement in air, water, waste, and sustainability performance, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of environmental engineering, compliance, or sustainability experience.
• Experience with Oregon DEQ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programs across multiple facilities.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain environmental permits, licenses, and submissions.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
• Provide technical expertise on environmental projects.
• Lead environmental risk assessments and remediation efforts.
• Review designs for environmental compliance implications.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams.
• Manage environmental consultants and contractors.
• Conduct environmental audits and corrective action programs.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
