Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Deployed Environmental Professional Team Leader to guide the EPC-CP group in achieving programmatic and operational excellence across environmental compliance.

You will lead a diverse team, shape the compliance strategy, and coordinate with DOE, regulators, and LANL programs to ensure regulatory requirements are met while maintaining strong customer service and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (water, air, waste, NEPA).
• Experience leading programs, projects, and budgets; strategic/tactical planning.
• Ability to build relationships across LANL and external regulators/stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for the EPC-CP group.
• Develop and execute goals for program and operational excellence.
• Oversee compliance strategy and ensure cost-effective, compliant operations.
• Mentor, recruit, and retain qualified staff; allocate resources and plan succession.
