Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer or Consultant to support environmental compliance, emissions calculations, and related advisory projects for industrial clients across renewables, manufacturing, energy, and chemicals. You will work with senior staff to translate regulations into practical strategies and reports, including permit applications, plans, and facilities-wide compliance frameworks.

The role offers remote work flexibility with occasional site visits up to 25% and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in environmental-focused engineering or related technical science.
• Up to 2 years of environmental consulting, permitting, or compliance experience with EPA/state regulations.
• Knowledge of general chemical, petrochemical, grain processing, and industrial manufacturing processes preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Support clients’ compliance with regulations and prepare permit applications and reports.
• Develop facility-specific environmental policies, plans, and procedures.
• Guide customers on building a compliance framework.
• Assist with environmental plans and approvals and continuous learning.
• Convey regulatory information to diverse audiences and facility stakeholders.
• Assist with environmental assessments and data interpretation.
