Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks an Environmental Consultant IIA to join a collaborative team supporting industrial clients in renewable fuels, manufacturing, energy, and chemical sectors. You will help navigate environmental compliance, calculate emissions, and contribute to various consulting projects.

The role emphasizes identifying risks, developing practical strategies, and guiding client discussions with state and federal agencies, while maintaining up-to-date regulatory knowledge and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an environmental-focused, engineering, or other technical science field.
• Minimum 4 years professional level environmental consulting, permitting, or compliance experience with understanding of EPA and state regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental consulting to clients to ensure regulatory compliance and prepare reports, permits, environmental plans, and approvals.
• Help clients understand and implement requirements in facility permits, plans, and approvals and build a compliance framework.
• Assist with developing facility-specific environmental policies, plans, procedures, and annual learning opportunities.
• Support air and water quality permit tasks, reporting, and compliance activities as needed.

Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering or related technical science
