Job summary

PROtect, LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer or Consultant II to join a collaborative team helping industrial clients navigate environmental compliance and sustainability challenges across renewables, manufacturing, energy, and chemical industries.

You will support environmental permitting, emissions calculations, reporting, and development of practical compliance strategies, with opportunities to work remotely and travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related technical field is required.
• Minimum 4 years of professional environmental consulting, permitting, or compliance experience.
• Proficient with EPA regulations (CAA, CWA, TSCA, EPCRA, RCRA) and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory compliance consulting and prepare permit applications and reports.
• Develop facility-specific environmental policies and procedures with implementation guidance.
• Assist clients with air and water permits and related risk analyses.
• Conduct site assessments and communicate findings to clients and regulators.
