Job summary

PROtect is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Consultant to join a collaborative team supporting clients in renewables, manufacturing, energy, and chemical sectors. You will help clients understand regulatory requirements, perform emissions calculations, and support environmental compliance projects.

The role involves developing permit applications, environmental plans, and reports, while enabling continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a technical science field.
At least 4 years of professional environmental consulting, permitting, or compliance experience.
Familiarity with EPA programs (CAA, CWA, TSCA, EPCRA, RCRA) and state regulations.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat).

Responsibilities

Provide environmental consulting to ensure regulatory compliance and complete reporting.
Assist with permit applications, environmental plans, and approvals.
Develop facility-specific environmental policies, plans, and procedures.
Interact with state and federal agencies and communicate complex environmental data.
