Job summary

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering; ABET accreditation is preferred. On-site position in Akron, with full-time schedule and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active campus/community involvement preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative; self-motivated to grow in field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with standard engineering design tasks and project duties.
• Support lead engineers with data collection, documentation, and analysis.
• Prepare and update design documents and presentations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to project concerns and stakeholders.
• Research solutions to project problems and recommend changes.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
