Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard techniques, following approved SOPs. The role may involve standing for long periods, handling organic solvents and specialized equipment, and performing routine QC tasks under supervision.

The position emphasizes safety and quality in a fast-paced lab, with training provided on instrument software and QA procedures, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lab tasks that provide experience with methods, practices, and programs.
• Preparation of samples using standard techniques.
• Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluation and quantification of data.
• Reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Performing routine instrument maintenance.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Responsible for general housekeeping in the work area.
