Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in the United States is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using GC/MS and other methods. You will follow SOPs and QA programs, handle solvents and glassware, and contribute to data reporting and compliance.

The role focuses on GC/MS, SVOC preparation and analysis, and requires adherence to safety and quality standards with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field or an Associate Degree with 2 years of related lab experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Evaluate and quantify data; report unusual test occurrences.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC sample completion.
• Document training records and keep IDOC/DOC current.
• Washes and inventories glassware; manage lab supplies.
