Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques, in compliance with Eurofins QA programs and SOPs. The role may involve standing for long periods, handling organic solvents, lab glassware, and specialized equipment.

Role focuses on Instrumental Wet Chemistry with responsibilities across sample prep, metals/PFAS/Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry workflows.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field or Associate Degree, or 2 years of related lab experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab tasks to gain experience with methods, practices, and programs.
• Prepare samples and perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Record, evaluate and report data; communicate unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Maintain instrument and routine QC samples; ensure proper housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Operate and understand instrument software; follow SOPs and QA programs.
