Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking an Associate Chemist to prepare and analyze environmental samples using established methods. The role may involve standing for long periods, handling organic solvents and laboratory glassware in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities include performing routine tasks, operating instruments, recording data, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and QA programs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field or an Associate Degree with related lab experience.
• English proficiency required for reading, writing and speaking.
• US work authorization with no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analyses.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences.
• Maintain instruments and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with QA and SOPs and keep training records up to date.
• Manage workload using backlog reports and work under supervision.
• Assist in other lab areas as needed.
