Job summary

Pape' Kenworth – Santa Maria, CA is seeking an Entry Truck Technician/Mechanic to perform basic repairs and maintenance on class 7 & 8 trucks. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs, growing your skills in a supportive dealer environment.

Recent graduates or those starting their diesel career are encouraged. Training is provided, with a focus on hands-on learning and professional development in a stable, family-owned organization with extensive resources.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks and basic repairs.
• Experience: 1+ years working on vehicles (or Diesel Tech Degree in lieu).
• Recent graduates welcome to begin a career in diesel/heavy truck industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium/heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks, including troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
• Repair work performed in a timely, efficient manner to support uptime for customers.
• Gain hands-on experience and grow skills through dealer-supported education and mentoring.
