Pape' Kenworth – Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty class 7 & 8 trucks, focusing on diagnosing problems and delivering timely fixes.

The role includes comprehensive dealer‑supported training and growth opportunities, with a Monday–Friday swing shift from 3:30pm to midnight. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks and one or more years of experience working on vehicles.
• Will also accept applicants with a Diesel Tech Degree in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty class 7 & 8 trucks including troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs.
• Receive dealer‑supported education and training to grow practical skills in maintenance, inspection and repair.
