Pape’ Kenworth in Santa Maria, CA is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs to support customers and uptime, with dealer-supported training for growth.

The role welcomes recent grads or individuals starting in the diesel industry, offering hands-on experience and a clear path to mastery in maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy-duty trucks.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks.
• One year of experience on vehicles or Diesel Tech Degree in lieu of experience.
• Willing to work Tue-Sat schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks including troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
• Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner to maximize customer uptime.
• Receive dealer-supported education and hands-on training to grow technical skills.
