Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy‑duty truck dealer, is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join our Santa Maria team. You will perform basic repairs and maintenance on class 7 & 8 trucks, with hands-on training and growth opportunities alongside seasoned technicians.

This role runs Tuesday–Saturday day shifts. We offer competitive pay ($27.25–$32.80/hr, DOE), strong benefits, and a commitment to work-life balance as part of the PAP group.

Qualifications

• One+ years of experience working on vehicles or diesel trucks.
• Diesel Tech Degree accepted in lieu of experience.
• Willing to work Tuesday–Saturday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy‑duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems promptly.
• Receive dealer‑provided training and mentorship from senior technicians.
