Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth in Redmond, OR is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join our team on swing shift. This role offers hands-on training and growth within a premier heavy-duty truck dealer network. You’ll perform basic repairs and maintenance on mid- to heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, troubleshoot issues, and develop skills under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience working on automotive or diesel trucks or similar vehicles.
• Diesel Tech Degree can substitute for experience.
• Recent graduates are welcome to apply and will receive dealer-supported education and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and perform repairs to maximize uptime.
• Learn from senior technicians and develop skills in maintenance, inspection, and repair.
