General Plastics & Composites LP is seeking an entry-level Machinist I to set up, operate, and maintain basic machine tools to produce precision metal parts. You will work under close supervision, using blueprints and written instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.

The role involves operating manual and CNC machines, performing routine inspections, and adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in structured production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience following written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for processes.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, protractors, height gauges, depth gauges) accurately.
