General Plastics & Composites LP in Houston, TX is seeking a highly skilled Machinist 3 on a part-time basis. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual and CNC machines to produce precision parts, reading blueprints and specifications.

The role involves program editing with G/M codes and Mazatrol, GD&T, and using precision measuring tools. You may train junior machinists and collaborate with engineering and quality teams while maintaining safety and craftsmanship.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years with manual and/or CNC machines.
• Strong mathematical skills and measurement tools proficiency.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and specifications.
• Accountability for punctuality, teamwork and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual and CNC machines with minimal supervision.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure tight tolerances.
• Perform machine fixturing and tool setting for various programs.
• Edit and create CNC programs using G/M codes and Mazatrol.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in training junior machinists and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.
