Job summary

LaborMax Staffing seeks a CNC Machinist to set up, operate and maintain CNC machines for precision metal or plastic parts used in manufacturing. You will follow blueprints, load materials, install tools, and monitor outputs to ensure quality.

The role requires reading technical drawings, understanding tolerances, using calipers and micrometers, and adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machine operation and setup.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and measurements.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools.
• High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Pass a 5 panel drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines based on blueprints and job orders.
• Load raw materials and install cutting tools.
• Program or edit machine code (G-code/M-code) as needed.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures and quality control standards.
