Job summary

Professional Plastics in Loves Park, IL is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. If you have experience setting up and running CNC machines in a production environment, we want to talk to you.

You will set up, program, and operate CNC machines, read drawings, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. Forklift certification is a plus and a requirement for some roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Previous machine operation experience is required.
• CNC machine certification a plus. Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, programs and operates CNC machines.
• Interprets drawings, program sheets, and process sheets to determine work to be done.
• Performs inspection and gauging to ensure quality standards and specifications.
• Maintains and cleans machine parts and performs routine machine maintenance.
