Job summary

Vail Resorts in Ludlow, VT, is hiring for Winter Seasonal Lift Maintenance Technicians. This role ensures the safe and reliable operation of lifts with emphasis on proficiency, safety, and leadership. You will maintain and repair lifts to support guest mobility on the mountain.

Starting wage is $22.99 to $27.05 per hour, with full-time hours available. Housing may be provided; a valid US driver's license is required, along with ability to work outdoors in winter conditions.

Qualifications

  • Prior mechanical or electrical experience is required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid US driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in winter mountain conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned lifts.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to optimize equipment downtime.
  • Engage with teams to foster engagement and results.
  • Follow safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Support professional growth and development across the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned lifts
  • Utilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime
  • Engages around priorities to foster engagement, collaboration, and results
  • Be able to follow safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Supports the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization, working closely with Lift Operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Prior mechanical or electrical experience
  • Must have or ability to obtain a valid US'driver's license
  • Ability to work efficiently at heights
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
  • Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred

The expected pay range is $22.99/hr - $27.05/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
