Job summary

Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, VT seeks a Lift Maintenance Technician for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Youll ensure safe, reliable operation of mountain lifts, applying mechanical and electrical knowledge with emphasis on safety and leadership.

This role offers learning and growth within the ski infrastructure. Starting wage ranges from $22.99 to $27.05 per hour, with housing available and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior mechanical or electrical experience.
• Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience or interest in lift maintenance preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in mountain winter conditions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned lifts.
• Utilize technical knowledge to optimize equipment downtime.
• Engage with team to foster engagement and results.
• Follow safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Support growth and development across the organization, working with Lift Operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Prior mechanical or electrical experience
• Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license
• Ability to work efficiently at heights
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
• Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred

The expected pay range is$22.99/hr - $27.05/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
