Job summary

Crested Butte Mountain Resort is hiring for summer seasonal positions in Trail Maintenance. You’ll work outdoors in the mountains, perform tool checks, and help maintain safe, accessible trails for guests from around the world.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and access to employee perks including passes, discounts, and career development opportunities. Applicants must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Determine the correct tools needed to complete assigned tasks and keep track of the tools to ensure they return at the end of the day and are properly stored for the night.
• Safely execute all functions by evaluating immediate surroundings
• Ensure that the proper PPE is being used for self and others
• Maintain a working knowledge of the tools and equipment
• Has a clear understanding of access roads and travel paths
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.69/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
