Job summary

3MD Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA. You will support client projects with hardware deployments, OS upgrades, and basic configurations, and provide remote and desk-side assistance for software and hardware issues.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
AA degree in IT-related field strongly preferred.
1-3 years of Windows desktop/laptop support in enterprise environment.
Experience with MS Office, software setups, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Ability to install, upgrade, and configure Windows desktops.
Experience with large computer moves is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deploy hardware and OS upgrades for client projects.
Physically install and cabling, imaging, and prep of devices for deployment or disposal.
Provide remote and desk-side support for computers, software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot and repair desktops to ensure connectivity with network drives and apps.
Follow escalation policies and work independently on requests.
Assist in project testing, documentation, and rollout.
Some projects may require travel to sites statewide or nationwide.
