3MD Inc. in Redmond, WA is seeking an IT Support Associate I to provide technical assistance to end-users and maintain digital infrastructure for smooth day-to-day operations.

You will install and support desktops, network gear, and peripherals, document configurations, and collaborate with IT and engineering on upgrades and security patches. This role emphasizes strong communication and independent work in a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, network switches/routers, and peripherals.
• Build out systems with SOPs and proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and configurations.
• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Routinely test and monitor IT system performance for security and reliability.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding by setting up user accounts and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot OS, apps, and connectivity issues; coordinate with IT/engineering on upgrades and patches.
