Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to lay out, fit, torch cut, and weld fabricated and forged components for machinery frames, tanks, and pressure vessels.

You will join, repair, and inspect metal structures using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, while following safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning layouts, positioning parts, bolting, tack-welding, setting up equipment, and maintaining shop tools.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent in welding; 4–6 years related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Demonstrate ability to read drawings, shape and fit pipes, choose welding method.

Responsabilités

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Repair dies by grinding, scarfing and welding techniques.
• Maintain and minor repairs to welding and shop equipment.
