Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form units following blueprints.
• Verify conformance of work pieces using squares, rulers, and tapes.
• Tack-weld fitted parts; lay out and examine metal stock to meet specs.
• Operate fabricating machines and move parts using hoists or cranes.
