Job summary

DBM Global is seeking a Production Fitter-Welder to assemble and weld structural components for commercial, bridge, and industrial projects. The role requires reading blueprints, following welding procedures (AWS, AISC), and fitting parts on all levels with precision.

You will perform gouging, scarfing, burns, tack welds, and quality checks, and must pass the AWS D1.1 weld test. GED and 12 months of stable work experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 12 months of stable work experience.
• Must pass required weld test and fitter test.
• Cert in AWS D1.1 weld test preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds on ground, above ground and below ground in required positions.
• Reads blueprints and plans the fitting operation; lays out work lines.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and adheres to PPE rules.
