Qualifications

• Advanced welding skills demonstrated by completion of the PCC approved Welding Tech Series and Welding Certification in two applicable alloys or titanium.
• Two years of applicable welding experience or equivalent training as described in PCC requirements.
• Vision: 20/30 correctable in both eyes and satisfactory depth/color vision tests.
• Ability to read and follow tech cards and work independently.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30–50 pounds and up to 80 pounds in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Weld castings using GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and PAW per procedures.
• Inspect welds for proper technique and metal deposition.
• Review inspection/rework paperwork and tech cards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and complete logs and records.
