Qualifications

• Entry-level welding experience or formal training preferred.
• Willing to train and qualify in FCAW for 3F/4F positions and AWS GMAW-P certification to D14.0.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols with decimal-based measurements.
• Access and interpret digital work instructions and drawings via computer systems.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete weldments in various positions per blueprints and welding procedures.
• Prepare, position, align components using fixtures; bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts.
• Safely operate an oxyfuel cutting torch and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols; apply precise measurements.
• Access digital drawings and work instructions via computer systems.
• Identify welding defects and assist in root cause analysis.
• Support 5S and workplace organization goals.
