The Western Virginia Water Authority is seeking a Utility Construction Technician IV to perform skilled work in the maintenance and construction of water and sewer lines. Responsibilities include overseeing employees, operating heavy machinery, ensuring safety, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, two years of related experience, and a valid Class A commercial driver’s license. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and effective communication skills. Regular exposure to outdoor conditions and a diverse range of tasks are part of the job.

Formación

• Minimum two years of experience in trades is required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Pass hands-on equipment tests for various machinery.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and directs work of assigned employees.
• Responsible for safety of projects and employees.
• Operates heavy machinery for water and sewer repairs.
