Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office or Google Apps.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Willingness to travel and learn from several styles of treatment facilities while training across the United States.

Aufgaben

• Learn to operate pumps, valves and motors to regulate flow.
• Collect and test water samples to determine impurities.
• Perform maintenance and installations of water treatment equipment.
• Maintain accurate client data records of chemicals, turbidity, and pressure.
• Comply with Veolia safety parameters.
• Communicate with fellow operators and management about non-routine parameters.
• Coordinate with purchasing to order wastewater treatment supplies.
• Troubleshoot wastewater treatment equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Study for and obtain wastewater certification exams; participate in the Operator In Training program.
• Develop training aids for the Operator In Training program.
• Work 12-hour shifts including nights; travel 1–2 weeks away managing new processes.
