Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and control pumps, valves, and electric motors to regulate flow.
• Learn to collect and test water samples for quality and contamination levels.
• Learn to perform routine maintenance on water treatment equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of client data including chemical content and water quality metrics.
• Follow Veolia safety procedures and communicate issues to supervisors as needed.
• Coordinate with sites and management for non-routine operating parameter adjustments.
• Assist in compiling data for regulatory reporting and support cross-site training initiatives.
• Learn to coordinate with purchasing to obtain necessary treatment supplies and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and facilitate repairs as needed.
• Study for and obtain required wastewater licenses; participate in training programs.
