Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Wastewater Infrastructure Operator to perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of the SBR treatment facility, collections system, and lift stations. The role includes safety compliance, data recording, and teamwork within a large water/wastewater operation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with less than two years in the field, and a valid driver’s license. On-site work with potential on-call rotations and weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years in water/wastewater or related fields.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain MN Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator license within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater facilities in a safe, compliant manner.
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping in plant areas.
• Read and record data from meters, gauges, and panels.
• Learn and use CMMS to schedule and complete work orders.
• Be on-call for emergencies; work weekends/holidays as needed.
