Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Wastewater Operator to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater infrastructure. You will work under Project Management, ensuring compliance, safety, and reliability across SBR facilities, collections, and lift stations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and under 2 years in the field. A valid driver’s license and CMMS skills are required, with opportunities to obtain MN Grade 2 license within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 2 years of experience in the water or wastewater industry or related fields.
• Strong reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills, knowledge of Windows, Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of basic operational and maintenance tasks for safe, reliable water/wastewater operations.
• Routine cleaning and general housekeeping in work areas.
• Ability to understand and carry out written/verbal work orders.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations with a calculator.
• Assist with CMMS scheduling and record-keeping.
• Learn to collect water quality samples and maintain records.
• Work weekends, holidays, and on-call on a rotating schedule.
