Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Wastewater Operator to perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater infrastructure, including an SBR treatment facility, collection systems and lift stations. You will follow work orders, collect samples, and maintain records in a safety-conscious team environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and the ability to obtain MN Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator license within 24 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 2 years of experience in water or wastewater industry or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains wastewater infrastructure including an SBR treatment facility, collections system and lift stations.
• Performs routine cleaning and general housekeeping in work areas.
• Reads and follows written/verbal work orders and instructions.
• Collects water quality samples and maintains records.
• Maintains proper operational and maintenance documents and records.
• Works weekends, holidays and on-call on a rotating schedule; responds to emergencies as needed.
