Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I in the United States to safely perform basic waste processing tasks, including off-loading inbound trucks, QA/QC, sampling, and shredding operations. A general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment is preferred, with forklift operation and basic tool use required.

The role emphasizes safety, routine paperwork, and clean, compliant operations in a facility environment. This is an entry-level position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a related role.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to utilize NetSuite and MS Office.
• Demonstrate good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in basic health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and safety/compliance duties.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, forklifts per policy and OSHA.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
• Off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• Perform QA/QC and lab analysis on waste streams and materials.
• Complete facility paperwork such as piece count and manifest review.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
