Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer - Design Lead to join our Urban Mobility & Infrastructure group in Minneapolis, MN, St. Paul, MN, or Chicago, IL.

You will lead design tasks for urban roadway and municipal projects, coordinating with other disciplines and managing project documents. You will work with clients and regulators, contribute to proposals, and mentor junior staff while upholding SRF’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited school.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley 3D design tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under general supervision and coordinate project tasks with other groups/disciplines.
• Lead design tasks for projects and review plans.
• Develop project documents including reports, studies, construction contract documents, and permit applications.
• Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public as necessary for project completion.
• Assist in development of proposals and manage medium to large projects.
