Pearce Services is seeking an Entry-Level Electronics Technician (UPS Field Engineer) to support customers in the DFW area. Recent graduates and military veterans are encouraged to apply; no prior UPS field experience required.

Pearce provides hands-on training and professional development to build a long-term career in critical power and field service. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, testing, and repairing UPS systems, battery plants, and related equipment across data centers,

Qualifications

• Foundational electronics/electrical theory knowledge gained through training or hands-on work.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and equipment docs.
• Will learn to troubleshoot UPS, battery and power systems in a field service setting.
• Willingness to travel within service territory and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Complete required safety, classroom, and hands-on field training.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of UPS and related equipment.
• Learn to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics and test equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, and replacement of UPS systems and batteries.
• Document findings and report to senior technicians; maintain service reports and logs.
