Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to perform trimming and removal tasks on trees and brush under supervision. The role involves operating hand and power tools, handling yard debris, and adhering to safety protocols in outdoor environments.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, paid hourly, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and an employee assistance program. Training will be provided for new hires in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights in varying weather.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
• Emphasis on safety and alertness around equipment and work zones.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cleans up debris and maintains orderly work areas.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and assists in site safety measures.
• Assists in training new employees and maintenance of tools/trucks.
