Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for full-time, hourly work. The role involves trimming trees, operating equipment, and maintaining work areas while following safety protocols. Pre-employment screening may apply, with potential for growth and training opportunities across crews.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background and MVR check may be required.
• Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Cleans debris and feeds debris into a woodchipper and loads/unloads trucks.
• Sets up barriers and warning signals to protect workers and the public.
• Assists in training new employees and maintains tool/truck condition.
