Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to join our field team. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating equipment, and maintaining safe work sites in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates are 18+, physically capable of climbing and lifting, with a valid driver’s license preferred. Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Maintains safety and keeps work areas clean and orderly.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and coordinates with customers.
