Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and assist with debris management. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and the capacity to work in varying weather conditions. Training will be provided, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights in uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences and walkways.
