Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to join our field crew. This entry-level role involves trimming, branch removal, debris processing, and operating woodchippers and related equipment.

Applicants should be able to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions, with potential pre-employment screening. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Company benefits include health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safely directs traffic and maintains barriers as needed.
• Assists in training new employees.
